Hey Everyone the waterways are cleaning up nicely with some good bite sessions happening throughout the systems and the large tides that we are having at the moment are going to help them along nicely.

Tuesday morning had us on Maroochy River withPaul and his son Ben from Brisbane where we targeted the lower reaches which didn’t fire as they did of late so we pushed further up river where both father and son got stuck into the Maroochy River Bream and some juvenile Flathead.

Thursday Morning saw us on Maroochy again with where we had George, Nicky and his Daughter Billy and Son Ben where the Girls stole the day with Billy catching Trevally, Bream and a nice 40cm Flathead with Nicky also catching Flathead and Bream and George also managing some Silver Bream and juvenile Flathead.

Sunday Morning had us with Adam from Chancellor Park and Andrew from Buderim out on Maroochy again where we pushed up to the middle reaches which are now clearing nicely. Both boys got off the mark with Silver Bream and also some Flathead with the final count being Adam:3 Bream and 2 Flathead, Andrew:1 Bream and 3 Flathead with one being 45cm.

Sunday Afternoon saw us back on Maroochy with Simon and Matt from Brisbane and Anthony from Bli Bli, Simon ended up with a Silver Bream and 4 Flathead with one again coming in at 45cm and Matt nailed 3 Flathead and a Silver Bream with Anthony bagging a Flathead, Bream and a Juvenile Trevally.

Hey there everyone, lots of rain in the systems this week with all those storms knocking about, luckily we escaped the worst of them on the coast but we did suffer with the rain and the upper reaches are particullary dirty.

First up this week we had Marty o Connor from Rosslare Hbr in Ireland along with his girlfriend Ingrid from Dublin who fished Maroochy River Wednesday morning on the run out tide with Marty bagging his first Flathead on a Soft Plastic along with a Bream. during the end of the Morning session the tide began to push in with the bluewater clearing the lower reaches making for a better bite session.

Wednesday afternoon we were back on the water with John Graham from the UK along with his son James who was out here playing for England in the Rugby League World Cup along with Phil Wilkin alos from the UK. Phil was first into the Fish with a Silver Bream with James getting the same shortly after. Phil also came through with a 46cm Flathead and a Grunter Bream. John bagged himself a nice Tailor and a Whiting with James also getting more Bream in the boat.

The rain put paid things until Saturday when we had Ben from Sydney and Nick from Melbourne out in the Pumicestone Passage where the boys had a cracker start nailing Trevally first up along with Flathead then Nick cracked a beautiful 46cm Mangrove Jack and Ben nailed a couple of school Jewfish.

That’s about all for this week guys and gals, here’s hoping the rain stays away and the systems recover quickly, the Pumicestone Passage is the pick for the week as it will clear a lot quicker with the tidal flow. Tight Lines to you all,Brian from Anglers Advantage The Sunshine Coasts Number One in Soft Plastics Fishing Tours.

Hey guys and gals, just a quick post to let you all know that we’re back in town and it’s back to business.

The river systems have taken a bit of a pounding with all the rain that we’ve been getting and the upper reaches have turned to that murky brown with all the run off from the land. The lower reaches are still pretty clear however particularly with the run in tides.

Saturday Morning we were out on Maroochy River with Michelle and Leah from Newcastle with Michelle bagging the 1st fish,a nice 30cm whiting with the girls also picking up some Flathead but no Bream. Sunday afternoon we were back out again before the storm hit with some action on the Poppers with whiting and also a few Bream on the Plastics.

that’s about it for the moment Everyone, will keep you posted as to what happens in the next week though as i look outside the rain is steadily coming down. Tight Lines and Screaming Reels to you all,Brian from Anglers Advantage The Sunshine Coasts Number One in Soft Plastics Fishing Charters.

Hey guys a better one on the water this week with only a couple of windy days later in the week making it harder but all in all it’s settling down a bit and the systems are clearing up nicely with water clarity good throughout the whole systems.

Monday had us down on the Pumicestone Passage with John Coghlan and his son Chris along with Lee Sanders with all the boys being from Brissie direction. Lee caught the first fish early up boating a small Flathead down the lower reaches along with John shortly thereafter though it was a bit quite so we pushed up the system a bit where Chris had a couple of good hits but dropped some nice fish before eventually bringing in the catch of the day a 67cm Jew fish which fought hard for 10mins before coming to the net.

The boys caught a few more fish between them with John getting a 50cm Flathead and Lee getting the strangest catch of the day a 65cm Long Tom!

Friday had us up Maroochydore end again where we had Shane and Grant from out Toowoomba way for an all day-er joined by Matt from Brisbane for the Afternoon session. The boys had a good session in the morning and the rivalry between Shane and Grant kicked up a notch in the arvo with Grant getting the first 4 fish to the boat but Shane kicked up a gear in the arvo to eventually win the round 9-8 thought i believe it would have been a draw only for a bit of rod handling by Shane when Grant was on a fish! (i saw nothing, only going by what I’m told). The comradely was good and a fun day was had by all.

Matt also boated his first fish on Soft Plastics and came out on Maroochy River again with us on Saturday Morning managing to bag a nice Grunter Bream which hit hard as well as a 45cm Flathead. Saturday arvo had us cancel a Charter with a Thunderstorm brewing.

Sunday Morning we were back on Maroochy River with Zac and his ten year old son Liam from Whallya VIC where again there was good Rivalry with Liam taking out Zac 7-2 with the boys getting some small Flahead,Grunter Bream and a keeper Flathead.Mick from Brisse and his Wife Debbie came out in the Arvo where Mike bagged his first Bream and Flathead on Plastics.

That’s about it until next week…..Will keep you posted, Tight Lines and Screaming Reels,Brian from Anglers Advantage The Sunshine Coasts Number 1 In Soft Plastics Fishing Tours.
