Hey everyone a good week on the water this week with the sun shining for a change giving the Sunshine Coasts River systems a chance to clear up with the middle and upper reaches still being quit brown and fresh so the lower reahes are still the best chance on the run in tide to pick up some fish.

First up this week on Monday we had Peter and his son Mitch from Caboolture along with Boris from Maryborough out for a morning session on Maroochy River where we targeted the lower reaches but we had the run out tide making for brown and fresh water throughout the system which made the conditions very difficult, Mitch managed a Silver Bream and we got Boris on a Flathead.

Tuesday morning saw us on Maroochy again with John and Pauline from Canberra in similar conditionswith similar results with Pauline managing a Flathead and a Bream. Tuesday afternoon we had the run in tide which cleared things up considerably where we had Adrian and his son Jackson also from Canberra with Jackson managing a Trevally and a Bream and dropped a considerably bigger fish. Adrian managed a small Flathead along with a 53cm Specimen which gave him a good run for his money.

Wednesday afternoon we were down the Pumicestone Passage with Anthony where the winter Bream are slowly but surely beginning to turn up, We managed 5 keeper Bream along with 4 undersize and 5 Flathead.

That’s about all for this week guys, was away fishing myself on the weekend down Jacobs Well for Saturday where I cught 16 Bream and 10 Flathead over the 40cm mark with the biggest being 68cm. Until next week Tight Lines and Screaming Reels to you all, Brian From Anglers Advantage- The Number one in Soft Plastics Fishing on the Sunshine Coasts Waterway.
