Hey everyone a wet start to the week again I’m afraid with Mondays and Tuesdays Charters getting cancelled due to the inclement weather and giving us a downpour of fresh and brown water into the Sunshine Coasts River systems.
Wednesday saw us out on Maroochy River with Nicole and Michael along with their 4 year old son Jake from Adelaide where we targeted the lower reaches which were beginning to cleanse with the ebb and flow of the tide where we had a good session with Michael nabbing 3 Bream and 4 Flathead and Nicole getting 2 Bream and a couple of Trevally which fought hard on the light tackle, Jake did well getting himself a couple of Trevally and 2 Bream also.
Wednesday afternoon we had Paul and Denise from NZ out with us also on Maroochy River where the run out tide made for much browner and fresher conditions with Denise managing 1 Flathead and being pipped by Paul who also caught a Flathead and a Bream.
Thursday had us on Maroochy again with Steve from Tin Can Bay way for an all day session joined on board in the morning by Anthony from Caloundra where again the Morning session was the pick with Anthony getting a Whiting straight up along with4 Bream. Steve also did well early on nabbing some Bream and small Flathead along with a couple of Trevally in the Afternoon.
Sunday Morning we had David who is out from the UK for a 12 month stint and living in Wynnum on Maroochy again with David landing 3 Flathead, we also managed some Bream on board in the brownish water.
