Hey everyone, What a week with cold days not deterring the fisherman amongst you getting out on the water with me and getting justly rewarded with Maroochy river turning it on this week.

Monday morning we had Greg Wilson from Brisbane along with his mate Phil from NZ and joined by Greg from Melbourne who pulled in 3 species for his effort with a hard fighting Trvally being the prize along with 2 Flathead and a Bream. Phil lost a magnificent Flathead on his very first cast right beside the boat that would have gone 60cms, he then proceeded to catch 3 Flathead, 3 Bream and a Trevally. Greg Wilson pulled in the prize catches for the morning with a Trevally, a 42cm Flathead and a stunning 60cm Jewfish which fought hard on the 4lb gear.

Tuesday we had Ian from Lithgow, NSW, Shane from Gympie and Graydon from Millmerran out with us on Maroochy river for an all day session. Shane was straight off the bat with a beautiful Diamond Trevally which fought hard before falling to the net for a happy snap before being released in still fighting form, Shane also pulled in a big eye Trevally along with 2 Bream and 4 Flathead for the day. Ian also had a good session with 5 Bream, 4 Flathead with one going 48cms. Graydon who joined us for the afternoon evening session came in strong with 5 Flathead to 47cms along with a Bream before we dropped the other boys back to the ramp as we tried through the evening for a Jewfish to no avail before we chucked some surface poppers around the bridge pylons under the lights to get smashed by Trevallys with Graydon adding 3 to his total to end up with 9 for the day.

Wednesday we had Graydon out with us again along with Darren and Ronnie from Mooloolaba, Darren was out of the traps early getting straight into the Bream and ending up with 7 bream for the afternoon session along with 3 Flathead, Ronnie came good on the Flathead as the sun dropped getting a 50cm and 43cm specimen along with 4 smaller fish. Graydon again had a cracker of a session getting 5 Bream, 5 Flathead and again 2 Trevally on the surface poppers.

Thursday morning we had Owen from Melbourne out on Maroochy again having a cracker of a session in pristine conditions getting 4 species with the tally being 7 Bream, 3 Flathead, 1 Trevally and a Tailor.

That’s all until next time everyone, Until then Tight Lines And Screaming Reels to You All, Brian From Anglers Advantage Fishing Charters/Tours….. Number 1 In Soft Plastics On The Sunshine Coast.
