Hey guys just a quick one, we were offshore yesterday on the Flying Fisher 1 where we had a full boat with Troy and Ron from Minyama, Nigel from Coffs Harbour, Isaac from London, Bernie from Cairns and Robbie from the Phillipines. With a strong Westerly blowing we stayed within sight of the shore trolling hex heads and skirts hunting for Spanish Mackerel and Tunas. With a slow start on the skirts we had a hit on the shotgun rigger with Troy getting a Mack tuna on the 10kg Tiagra outfit. We changed to Divers and skipping Garfish to have a Longtail hit the short corner with Nigel knocking it over pretty quick.

With things slowing down on the troll we tried the plastics on Sunshine reef but with the west wind howling at 25knts it was hard work and with the water temp still in the 23 degrees the Snapper aren’t firing or in quantity on the inner reefs yet so we slow trolled our way back south with the wind blowing the bait schools weren’t co-operating either, Until next time Tight Lines And Screaming Reels To You All, Brian From Anglers Advantage Fishing Charters, Number 1 on The Sunshine Coast.
